Over a three-year period, I led two major brand evolutions for MKFM, helping the station adapt to new ownership while retaining its strong local identity.
2022 Rebrand
The first rebrand focused on creating a cleaner, more contemporary identity that reflected MKFM’s continued growth. Alongside modernising the logo, I introduced the ‘Made in MK’ positioning to reinforce the station’s strong connection to Milton Keynes and its role as the city’s local radio station. The refreshed identity provided a more flexible brand system that worked consistently across digital, print, events and broadcast.

2025 Rebrand
Following a change in ownership, I was once again asked to evolve the brand. This refresh refined the existing identity with bolder typography and a cleaner, more modern aesthetic, while introducing a circular marque that aligned MKFM visually with the wider Stadium MK Group of brands. The result was a stronger, more unified identity that retained the station’s recognisable personality while creating a clearer connection across the group.
